At the British School Quito both challenge and support are important to us. As such we provide 2 hours of ‘extension’ time each week for our students during curriculum time. This aims to ensure that students are supported and challenged by providing additional Mathematics, English and/or Spanish to students requiring extra support, or stretching students through additional activities such as our Lego robotics, The Duke of Edinburgh Award, Model United Nations or Environmental Club programmes.
There is a broad range of after school activities for students to participate in, including sports, the Arts and a range of academic clubs – such as our French language club. These occur after school on Tuesday and Thursday from 15h30 to 16h30 and there is an additional bus service for students requiring transport home.
