A First Step into Belonging: The BSQ Camping Day Experience

On Saturday, November 15th, The British School Quito hosted its first-ever BSQ Camping Day, a new experience created to welcome prospective families and offer them a genuine glimpse into the warmth, energy, and spirit of our community.

From the moment families arrived, our campus was filled with excitement: children explored activity stations, played outdoors, and embraced the joy of discovery. Parents experienced first-hand the essence of BSQ, a personalised approach to learning, meaningful relationships, and a school environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to grow along their own unique path.

Throughout the afternoon, families connected with each other and BSQ staff as they enjoyed the vibrant sense of mattering that defines BSQ.

The event was not just about activities; it was about sharing moments, sparking curiosity, and showcasing who we are as a close community with a big world of opportunities.

By the end of the afternoon, it was clear that Camping Day had become more than an introduction to our school, it was the beginning of a new tradition built on the values that guide us every day. A nurturing environment, with personalised attention, meaningful connections, and a community that grows together.

We are deeply grateful to every family who joined us and to the staff and student helpers who made this event possible. Your enthusiasm helped us create something truly special, an afternoon that reflects what makes BSQ unique: a place where every child can explore, thrive, and belong.

We look forward to welcoming many more families in the near future to explore BSQ and to continue to build moments that become lasting memories. If you'd like to join us for our next adventure, then why not let our admissions team know and they'll ensure you're invited along to our next special event.
