More Than a Hoodie: Celebrating the Year Ahead

Some milestones are marked not by grand ceremonies, but by traditions that carry meaning far beyond the moment itself. The Year 13 Hoodie Ceremony is one of them.

Surrounded by their families, friends, and teachers, our Year 13 students came together to celebrate the beginning of their final year at BSQ. For each cohort, the hoodie becomes more than a garment. Designed to represent their year group, it reflects a shared identity, the memories they have created together, and the journey that has brought them to this important stage.

Receiving the Year 13 hoodie marks the start of a year filled with opportunities, challenges, achievements, and unforgettable moments. It is a reminder that, as the most senior students in our community, they play an important role in shaping the culture of the school through the example they set, the relationships they build, and the values they demonstrate every day.

The ceremony also offered an opportunity to celebrate the support of families, whose encouragement and partnership have accompanied our students throughout their journey and will continue to do so as they approach the next chapter of their lives.

As they begin this significant final year, we encourage our Year 13 students to embrace every opportunity, support one another, and make the most of the experiences that lie ahead.

This is a year to lead, to grow, to celebrate, and to create memories that will last a lifetime.
