At The British School Quito (BSQ), we are delighted to share the remarkable achievements of our Year 10 and 11 students in the June 2025 IGCSE examinations.

These results not only reflect academic strength but also highlight the dedication, resilience, and global mindset that define our BSQ learners.

Strong Results, Strong Foundations

With 15 students sitting IGCSEs this year, BSQ students achieved:

  • 74% of grades at A–C*
  • 18% of grades at the top levels A/A*
  • Exceptional results in core and elective subjects, including a 100% pass rate in Literature in Spanish.

These outcomes place BSQ students above global benchmarks and reaffirm the exceptional quality of teaching and learning in our school.

Celebrating Students

Behind every grade is a story of determination, curiosity, and growth. Our students’ accomplishments are not only measured by exam results but also by the skills and values they demonstrate each day.

These results reflect more than academic achievement; they show the authenticity, resilience, and respect our students bring to their learning journey. At BSQ, we celebrate not only the grades but the growth, integrity, and compassion behind them

Preparing for the Future

The IGCSE programme at BSQ provides students with a strong foundation for the IB Diploma Programme, helping them develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that prepare them for success in higher education and beyond.

More Than Just Numbers

As a school community, we are immensely proud of our students’ achievements. These results are a reflection of their hard work, the dedication of our teachers, and the support of BSQ families. Together, they embody what makes BSQ unique: a British education enriched by Ecuadorian warmth, preparing students to thrive on a global stage.

Congratulations to our Year 10 and 11 students — your journey of excellence is just beginning!
