We are thrilled to share that our School Council has proposed an initiative to raise funds aimed at improving our playground!
They recently presented their plans to the senior leadership team, outlining the steps needed to achieve their goal.
One of the key activities they have arranged is a Playdate, where children can enjoy quality playtime together—without iPads or electronic games. This event will feature a variety of engaging activities designed to foster creativity and teamwork among our students.
The children calculated that if each student brings a couple of dollars, they can raise enough money to enhance the playground. They have also proposed that the school matches these funds to create exciting playtime activities that will keep everyone engaged and active.
This initiative is a fantastic example of how young children can bring their ideas to a committee and effect positive change for the benefit of our community. It embodies the spirit of BSQ—a school built on kindness and a strong sense of family.
