Welcome to The British School Quito
At The British School Quito our talented teachers encourage our students to develop the skills required to thrive internationally. We follow the British National Curriculum which enables our students to fulfill their potential in world-leading Universities.
Our pupils are a mix of local Ecuadorian students and foreign nationals from over thirty countries around the globe. We’re a truly international school, yet we remain extremely proud and respectful of our Ecuadorian roots. We celebrate our Spanish language and culture alongside our British curriculum to offer a bi-lingual approach from an early age.
We believe that building strong values is important to the future success of our students. Our values are compassion, respect, integrity, excellence, and responsibility and these are at the heart of our school’s community.

What Our Parent Community Thinks
We welcome students from over thirty countries with a high population of local students. The international community we foster sits at the heart of our school life.
Our teachers work alongside parents to create a school community that provides an outstanding experience for students, parents and teachers. This community helps all pupils fulfil their exam potential, create cherished memories and let their individuality shine.
Here’s what our parents have to say.
EYFSParent RepresentativeWe are delighted to start enjoying the BSQ community feeling, but most of all, it is gratifying to see how our daughter continues on her learning path and looks forward to going to school every day.
Our congratulations and thank you to the entire staff and especially to the Early Years team for being so amazing. Keep up the good work…we still have another 13 years to go!
